Writing, rejected

I haven't made more than a minor attempt to break into the freelance writing world. I've heard it's tough - some editors can be cruel, even downright sadistic. Others are kind and helpful - you just never know who's going to read your efforts or how they'll react.

If you've ever considered freelance writing, though, it's best to become familiar with the methods of elimination, in order to lessen the pain when they are, inevitably, addressed to you. With this in mind, I have found the perfect blog to help increase my awareness: Literary Rejections on Display.

The writer of this blog has found a brilliant way to purge her/himself of these catty, cruel denials: Publish the brutality (anonymously, of course) and reclaim the power! My submission was recently posted here. Get ready to toughen up.
